Over the years, improvements in motorsports have majorly been about aerodynamics and engineering. However, the FIA Formula E championship has taken a new leap in innovation, design, and production sectors with the recently launched Gen3 e-car-the fastest, lightest, most powerful, and most efficient electric race car ever built with a top speed of over 322kph.
The e-race car features two powertrains-350kW at the back and 250kW in front delivering power efficiency of 95% and can be charged at 600kW which nearly doubles the power of available fastest car chargers and can hit 0-60 mph in sub-three seconds with recyclable and reusable battery cells.
This e-racing car delivery doubles the efficiency of an ICE disrupting and challenging the conventions of motorsports benchmarking both efficiency and sustainability aspects.
What Revolution does Gen3 bring?
Electric Acceleration.
The Gen3 powertrain innovation, design, and production showcase motorsport’s role as a catalyst in paving way for electric vehicle technologies and setting a new unprecedented speed in motorsports championship toward sustainability.
